The photo above shows interesting icing conditions on the Pike River at Dave's Falls, near Amberg, Wisconsin. It was taken April 8, 2007 when huge temperature swings and snowmelt runoff resulted in these intricate and delicate ice formations. Click on photo for a larger view.
