The partial solar eclipse visible earlier this month across much of Greece was indeed captivating. Thanks to idyllic Aegean skies, the entire eclipse was visible -- approximately 65% of the Sun's surface was eclipsed by the Moon (at eclipse maximum). On the above mosaic, photos were snapped every five minutes, from the start to the finish of the eclipse. This eclipse was a worthy prelude to next spring's total solar eclipse -- the path of totality includes the Greek isle of Kastelorizo.
